MMMT, Mom and Me Missions Trip 2009, was hosted at our house where we had friends from the states bring themselves and their children or relatives/friends come to the Philippines with a vision to make a difference. We had good and rough times from praying and playing with the amazing children to Heidi puking her guts up in the car as well as several car-sick instances. We swam in an active volcano, hiked the hardest hike of our lives in a low-pressure monsoon, had bonding time in the evenings, formed new and lasting bonds, experienced another culture, survived Manila's pollution, fought our way through crowded streets, and crashed hard every night. We got the opportunity to do the drama to the song by Lifehouse called Everything. We came home late one evening, practiced it twice, and did it the next day. Unfortunately, the best part of the drama got cut off sooo... just imagine a grand ending. :) We are looking forward to an awesome MMMT next year!
